We nurture children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through meaningful, play-based experiences. Our child-centered approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and choice, helping children feel capable and important. In a safe, secure, and developmentally appropriate environment, children are free to explore, imagine, and learn at their own pace.

The Barn Yard supports the growth of the whole child through a child-initiated, emergent curriculum for children ages three months to five years. Learning experiences are inspired by children’s interests and supported with encouragement, gentle challenges, and plenty of time for free play—helping children build self-esteem and a joyful love of learning.
Children also enjoy daily opportunities for movement and outdoor play. Whether inside or outside, they strengthen their bodies through running, jumping, balancing, and active exploration in a spacious, inviting environment.

Educational Programs by Age
Infant Care & Development
The earliest months of life require specialized attention and a calm, responsive atmosphere. Our Chick Room provides a deeply nurturing environment that prioritizes secure attachment and sensory development. Educators focus on supporting physical well-being and motor development through gentle, intentional interactions. We provide consistent routines for feeding, resting, and evolving playtime. Infants to begin their journey of exploration and learning here.
Toddler Programs
Toddlers are active explorers who are beginning to assert their independence. Our Toddler Programs are designed to channel that energy into constructive learning through guided play. We introduce early literacy, language development, and foundational social skills like turn-taking and emotional regulation. Our activities encourage critical thinking and problem-solving in a safe, fun, and highly structured setting. We help them make the leap from dependent infant to capable young learner.
Preschool
Our Preschool Education program is a focused curriculum for kindergarten readiness. Children engage in hands-on discovery across key content areas. We utilize a play-based approach that builds social-emotional intelligence alongside academic skills. Daily activities promote independence, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions, all in preparation for the transition to elementary school.
